Job Summary:
Banner Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit team. As a PCU Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to patients with various medical conditions, including post-surgical patients and those battling COPD exacerbations, pneumonia, pancreatitis, renal failure, or hypoxia.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care based on patient-specific needs and medical plans.
- Provide direct patient care, coordinate, delegate, and supervise the activities of the healthcare team.
- Evaluate patient progress towards goals and expected outcomes in collaboration with other healthcare team members.
- Document assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in the patient record.
Requirements:
- Current, valid RN license in the state of practice.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum one year experience in an acute care hospital setting.
- Experience in the clinical area for which they are applying is desired.
