Patient Service Representative

This role is responsible for providing exceptional patient service and administrative support in a fast-paced medical office environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
Key Responsibilities- Greets patients and visitors, answers phone calls, and responds to messages in a timely and professional manner.
- Schedules patient appointments, registers patients, and verifies demographic information.
- Collects patient payments, prepares medical records, and maintains accurate records.
- Provides excellent customer service, resolves issues, and promotes a positive patient experience.
- Maintains confidentiality, adheres to HIPAA guidelines, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Performs other administrative tasks as assigned, including data entry, filing, and mail distribution.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- One year of customer service experience in a healthcare setting or related field.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs).
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a medical office setting or related field.
This role is based in Aurora, Colorado, and requires regular attendance and punctuality. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude in the face of challenges.
