Job Title: Call Center Representative

Join our team at Advanced Dermatology as a Call Center Representative, where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to our patients.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our Call Center team. As a Call Center Representative, you will be responsible for handling high-volume phone calls, scheduling appointments, and providing accurate information to patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer and manage high-volume phone calls in a multi-line phone system
  • Schedule appointments and procedures for multiple providers and locations
  • Effectively dispatch calls to the appropriate personnel
  • Take accurate messages with all necessary information and send them to the appropriate personnel
  • Verify and update patient information, including demographics and insurance
  • Verify referrals and authorizations for services
  • Process and distribute faxes, track cosmetic packages, and process payments for copays and cosmetic procedures/product
  • Scan and attach documents, perform data entry, and complete various administrative tasks as required
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Proficient with verbal and written communication
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills and flexibility
  • Experience with EMR (electronic medical records), HIPAA, insurance, and referrals preferred
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
Work Environment:

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 7:15 am – 5:30 PM, and Saturday, 7:45 am – 12:30 PM. Travel to other office locations may be required.
