Key Responsibilities:- Answer and manage high-volume phone calls in a multi-line phone system.
- Schedule appointments and procedures for multiple providers and locations.
- Effectively dispatch calls to the appropriate personnel.
- Take accurate messages with all necessary information and send them to the appropriate personnel.
- Verify and update patient information, including demographics and insurance.
- Verify referrals and authorizations for services.
- Process and distribute faxes, track cosmetic packages, and process payments for copays and cosmetic procedures/product.
- Perform data entry and various administrative tasks as required.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Proficient with verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Excellent multi-tasking skills and flexibility.
- Experience with EMR (electronic medical records), HIPAA, insurance, and referrals preferred.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 7:15 am – 5:30 PM, and Saturday, 7:45 am – 12:30 PM. Travel to other office locations may be required.
