Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer and manage high-volume phone calls in a multi-line phone system.
  • Schedule appointments and procedures for multiple providers and locations.
  • Effectively dispatch calls to the appropriate personnel.
  • Take accurate messages with all necessary information and send them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Verify and update patient information, including demographics and insurance.
  • Verify referrals and authorizations for services.
  • Process and distribute faxes, track cosmetic packages, and process payments for copays and cosmetic procedures/product.
  • Perform data entry and various administrative tasks as required.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Proficient with verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills and flexibility.
  • Experience with EMR (electronic medical records), HIPAA, insurance, and referrals preferred.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Work Environment:

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 7:15 am – 5:30 PM, and Saturday, 7:45 am – 12:30 PM. Travel to other office locations may be required.
