Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Patient Services Representative to join our team at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. As a key member of our Community Practice team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a subject matter expert and lead for other Front Desk Staff, Certified Medical Assistants, and Physicians in job-related functions.
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating departmental policies and procedures.
  • Mentor, monitor, coach, and evaluate team members' performance, focusing on productivity and quality management.
  • Coordinate services, prioritize assignments, and promote situational decision-making/problem-solving.
  • Perform responsibilities of the underlying job, taking responsibility for handling complex or novel issues and providing guidance to team members.
Requirements
  • A High School Diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years of patient/client-facing experience.
  • Preferred qualifications include an Associate's degree, medical office/customer service experience, bilingual Spanish-speaking skills, and proficiency in EPIC, Kronos, and MS Office.
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, take appropriate action, and maintain confidentiality. The successful candidate must be able to work in person and travel to alternate locations as assigned.
