Job Summary:

The Program Director of Talent Acquisition and Management is a key leadership role responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy to support the growth and success of The Universities at Shady Grove. This position will lead the talent acquisition team in identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent to fill critical positions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a talent acquisition strategy that aligns with the organization's business objectives and goals.
  • Lead the talent acquisition team in identifying and attracting top talent through various recruitment channels and strategies.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs and develop effective recruitment plans.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, partners, and industry experts.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and effectiveness in talent acquisition.
  • Develop and implement metrics to measure the success of the talent acquisition function and make data-driven decisions to improve processes and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in talent acquisition leadership, with a proven track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment strategies, talent management, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a higher education or research institution.
  • Knowledge of federal regulations and compliance requirements.
