POSITION OVERVIEW

Implement the designated sales and marketing initiatives by crafting tailored account strategies and ensuring a profitable operation.

YOUR MISSION (Responsibilities)

  • Conduct extensive travel within the assigned region, engaging with all designated Running Specialty accounts, including weekends for significant events.
  • Participate in essential retailer and channel gatherings, such as trade exhibitions and conferences.
  • Deliver top-tier service and technical knowledge from initial engagement to final sale.
  • Build and sustain robust relationships with accounts in the region as well as internal partners to propel business growth.
  • Oversee all facets of the business for the wholesale account portfolio, including but not limited to:
    • Product introduction processes – presentations and training sessions.
    • Strategic business planning, order processing, and all operational responsibilities.
    • Management of order book.
    • Store merchandising and sales strategy planning.
  • Meet annual sales volume objectives for the assigned region and key accounts.
  • Fulfill annual channel distribution goals for the designated area.
  • Ensure all orders are delivered by the established booking deadlines.
  • Provide the Channel Sales Manager with weekly updates on account status and sales progress towards both pre-book and quarterly sales targets.
  • Identify and nurture new Running Specialty accounts within the assigned region.
  • Conduct product and brand training across the territory to enhance sales performance, as necessary.
  • Actively manage the order book with the assigned Sales Support Representative on a daily and weekly basis to review all outstanding orders and confirm product shipments.
YOUR TALENT

YOUR TALENT (Qualifications)

  • Minimum of 3 years in an external sales position, preferably within the Running or sports sector.
  • A college degree is preferred.
  • Previous experience as a competitive high school or collegiate runner is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time is essential.
  • Must possess comprehensive and current knowledge, including technical expertise in Running footwear and apparel, along with awareness of competitive brands.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power-BI).
  • High energy level and professionalism are required.
  • Outstanding follow-through and organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to effectively present products and brands using PowerPoint and spreadsheet software tools.
  • Strong time management skills with the capacity to multitask and concentrate on primary business objectives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
