Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Scheduling Coordinator to join our team at PRESS GLASS. As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will play a critical role in serving our customers by entering orders into our computer system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather information prepared by Customer Service Representatives from customer data and orders.
  • Transfer data from paper formats (written orders), PDF files, Excel spreadsheets, and technical drawings into our computer systems, FeneVision or GPS Lisec.
  • Proof information about the order (dimensions, thickness, type of glass, etc.)
  • Verify data entered by comparing it to source documents.
  • Review and interpret technical drawings to collect order details.
  • Communicate with the Estimating team about the orders.
  • Sort and organize paperwork after entering data for retention.
  • Update reports about the orders.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required; additional education and/or experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook) with the ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • Fast typing skills with high accuracy level.
  • Reading technical drawings.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail with analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to quickly adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines.
