The Coordinator will operate under the guidance of the Intake Supervisor, responsible for inputting referral information into the electronic health record (EHR) system and articulating the services offered by A Renewed Mind to prospective clients and referral sources.

Key Responsibilities:


Uphold the values and guiding principles of our mission daily, performing with the utmost standards of excellence, integrity, and ethics.

Handle incoming calls to receive referrals or direct the call to the appropriate personnel or department.

Ensure clients are introduced to the agency in a compassionate, professional, and efficient manner while adhering to all applicable regulations.

Facilitate referrals and connections to suitable external and internal services and providers, coordinating care as necessary for the client's treatment.

Provide clear communication to potential clients and/or referral sources regarding A Renewed Mind's programs and services.
Verify insurance details for individuals seeking services.

Manage the documentation requirements of the intake process within designated time frames, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Maintain confidentiality as mandated by law.

Collaborate with the Finance Department and Benefit Eligibility Specialists to ensure accurate claims for all services billed post-intake.

Exhibit positive leadership, foster an inclusive work environment, and represent the Agency positively with all internal and external contacts.

Demonstrate a positive attitude, adaptability, and a willingness to embrace new responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED is required.
1+ years of experience working with children, youth, and families in a healthcare environment performing similar duties is preferred.

Skills:
Mission-driven; a strong desire to make a difference.
Excellent interpersonal skills; able to engage professionally and courteously with clients, agency staff, vendors, authorities, and other organizations.
Proficient in computer literacy, including Windows applications, Microsoft Office Suite, and electronic health records.
Ability to regularly exercise discretion and sound professional judgment.

Flexible; may occasionally need to work beyond standard business hours to meet client needs.

Strong organizational skills; capable of managing multiple priorities with attention to detail and working independently.
Ability to maintain relevant, timely documentation as required.
Possess a valid Ohio Driver's License with a clean driving record and valid insurance.
Successfully complete pre-employment drug screening, physical examination, and background checks.
