As a Business Development Representative at Saia, you will play a key role in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to expand our client base and drive revenue growth. Your success will be measured by your ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, identify new business opportunities, and negotiate contracts to exceed performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base and drive revenue growth.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure client satisfaction and successful project delivery.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals to exceed performance metrics.
  • Prepare and present compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • 2+ years of sales or transportation experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AS400.

This position is eligible for commission pay and car allowance.
