  • Oversee systems engineering projects for the New Glenn Upper Stage, a state-of-the-art heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle intended for transporting personnel and cargo to various orbits.
  • Work collaboratively across upper stage subsystems to integrate groundbreaking capabilities.
  • Manage the development, distribution, and validation of requirements for these innovative solutions, engaging with both internal and external partners.
  • Promote the adoption of systems engineering methodologies within the New Glenn initiative.
  • Establish health metrics to assess program progress and key milestones.
  • Lead and participate in reviews relevant to the New Glenn project.

This position requires expertise in systems engineering, integration methodologies, and mission-critical systems, demanding strong leadership and innovative thinking even in challenging circumstances.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace engineering, or related disciplines.
  • In-depth understanding of systems engineering principles and mission-critical systems.
  • Proven experience in leading teams and mentoring junior engineers.
  • Familiarity with system requirement management tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and a talent for fostering collaboration.
  • Must comply with U.S. citizenship or residency requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in systems engineering within regulated sectors.
  • Previous engagement with government entities and in reliability & safety assessments.
  • Knowledge of system design and analysis throughout the product lifecycle.
