Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Pastry Sous Chef to join our team at Flagship Facility Services, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our pastry and dessert production team, ensuring high-quality products and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of pastry chefs to produce high-quality desserts and pastries
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items to drive business growth
  • Collaborate with the Executive Pastry Chef to plan and execute large-scale events and catering operations
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Manage inventory and supplies to maintain optimal levels
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive dining experience
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in a high-volume pastry or dessert production environment
  • Proven track record of leading a team and driving business growth
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification preferred
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with moderate to high noise levels. The position requires standing, walking, and bending for extended periods, as well as lifting and moving equipment and supplies.
