POSITION OVERVIEW

The Marketing Coordinator at EMCOR Government Services will play a pivotal role in orchestrating both corporate and client-focused communications while establishing and nurturing marketing avenues for the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute strategic initiatives to enhance brand visibility and generate leads; assist various departments in project execution by drafting and submitting proposals; navigate seamlessly across diverse marketing platforms, including digital, printed materials, and content collaborations.
  • Act as the primary liaison for company-wide and client-oriented events: partner with colleagues to plan, coordinate, and oversee events, which includes vendor management, logistics, and administrative tasks that require cross-departmental communication.
  • Leverage proprietary company data for lead generation and development while collaborating with multiple teams to monitor the progress of both returning and new business opportunities.
  • Organize meetings and presentations for both internal and external communications; this includes campaign strategy sessions, program summaries, and competitive assessments.
  • Conduct research and produce relevant content for social media platforms: engage with sources, write, edit, and disseminate information across various social media channels.
  • Perform administrative duties as required and undertake any additional responsibilities as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, or a related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in marketing communications, social media management, and event planning

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Suite

This position typically involves working in an office environment. Regular activities include sitting, seeing, talking, and hearing. This role requires effective verbal and written communication in one-on-one settings, small groups, and larger presentations. The ability to work at a computer for extended periods is necessary, along with moving within the office to retrieve files and meet with colleagues. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty-five (25) pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Travel may be required to attend events or training sessions. While visiting field locations, the employee may encounter outdoor conditions, exposure to various environmental factors, and moderate to loud noise levels.
