POSITION OVERVIEW

The Marketing Specialist at Emcor Inc. will oversee the organization of both corporate and client-focused communications while establishing and sustaining marketing channels for the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Execute strategic and tactical initiatives aimed at enhancing brand visibility and generating leads; assist various teams in project development by drafting and submitting proposals; navigate seamlessly across diverse marketing channels including digital, printed materials, and content collaborations.
  • Act as the primary liaison for company-wide and consumer-oriented events: work collaboratively with others to plan, coordinate, and manage events, including vendor oversight, shipment management, and related administrative tasks involving cross-departmental communication.
  • Leverage proprietary company information for lead generation and development while engaging with multiple teams to monitor progress on both returning and new business sources.
  • Organize meetings and presentations for internal and external communications; this includes campaign planning, program summaries, and competitive assessments.
  • Conduct research and produce relevant content for social media platforms: engage with sources, write, edit, and publish across various social media channels.
  • Perform administrative functions as required and undertake any additional duties as assigned.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in marketing communications, social media marketing, and event planning.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe software.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, see, talk, and hear. This role necessitates verbal and written communication in one-on-one settings, small groups, and larger presentations. The employee must be able to work at a computer (reading and typing) for extended periods. The employee must move within the office to retrieve files and meet with colleagues in their offices or conference rooms. The employee is regularly required to walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty-five (25) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be occasionally required to travel by car (as a passenger or driver) to job sites or to attend departmental events/training.

While visiting field locations, the employee may be required to work outdoors, be exposed to varying weather conditions, and face potential hazards associated with mechanical and electrical components. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate to loud.
