POSITION OVERVIEW
The Marketing Coordinator at EMCOR Government Services will oversee the alignment of corporate and client-focused communications while developing and sustaining marketing channels for the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute strategic initiatives and tactical measures aimed at enhancing brand visibility and acquiring leads; assist various departments with project execution by drafting and submitting proposals; navigate seamlessly across marketing platforms including digital, printed materials, and content collaborations.
- Act as the primary liaison for both internal and external events: work collaboratively with colleagues to plan, organize, and manage events, including vendor oversight, shipment management, and related administrative tasks that require cross-departmental communication.
- Leverage proprietary company data for lead generation and development while engaging with multiple teams to monitor progress on both returning and new business opportunities.
- Facilitate meetings and presentations for both internal and external communications; this includes campaign strategy sessions, program summaries, and competitive assessments.
- Conduct research and create pertinent content for social media platforms: engage with sources, write, edit, and publish across various social media channels.
- Perform administrative duties as required and undertake any additional responsibilities as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, or a related field
- 2-5 years of experience in marketing communications, social media management, and event planning
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Suite.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, see, talk, and hear. This role necessitates verbal and written communication in one-on-one settings, small groups, and larger presentations. The employee must be able to work at a computer (reading and typing) for extended periods. The employee must move within the office to retrieve files and meet with colleagues in their offices or conference rooms. The employee is regularly required to walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty-five (25) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally be required to travel by car (as a passenger or driver) to job sites or attend departmental events/training.
