About the RoleEataly North America is seeking an experienced HR Business Development Manager to join our team as a People Operations Leader. This critical role involves leading the HR function for multiple Operational Units on the West Coast, developing a people strategy to enhance employee engagement and support business operations.

This strategic role requires a deep understanding of HR policies, practices, and employment law, with the ability to influence by building positive working relationships and partnerships.

The ideal candidate will have strong coaching skills, analytical thinking, and the capability to balance being analytical and fact-based with being people-focused.

  • Develops and deploys a fully integrated people strategy for the entire employee lifecycle, ensuring competitiveness in attracting and retaining top talent.
  • Partners with senior leadership to define and implement capability-building projects that drive continuous improvement and align with business objectives.
  • Collaborates with leadership teams to maintain and further develop talent management programs, including onboarding, compensation, retention, headcount planning, analytics, succession planning, employee engagement, and development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies to drive business growth and profitability

• Design and deliver talent management programs to meet business objectives

• Analyze trends and metrics to inform data-driven decisions and develop solutions

• Manage complex employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and provide coaching and support to employees and supervisors

• Interpret employment laws and policies for employees and management, creating strategies to respond to new requirements

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree; advanced degree preferred

7+ years of full-cycle HR experience in a multi-state/multi-facility business environment

Prior work experience in California with a deep understanding of California employment law

Excellent understanding of all components of HR, including systems, databases, and metrics

Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels

Demonstrated managerial courage to provide timely and actionable feedback to leaders
