About the Role

The Director of Sales, SMB role demands an exceptional leader who can drive growth, accelerate sales cycles, and navigate complex procurement processes. As a strategic growth expert, you will spearhead Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies, expand our market presence in the Real-World Data (RWD) space, and secure contracts with top-tier life sciences firms.

Main Responsibilities

  • Drive Sales Growth: Collaborate with business development teams to achieve Sales and Bookings targets with Small to Medium-sized Biotechnology (SMB) accounts.
  • Lead Generation: Perform prospecting activities to qualify leads and expand Atropos Health's customer base.
  • Account Strategy Development: Assist in crafting comprehensive account strategies to maximize opportunities.
  • RWD Market Expansion: Develop innovative approaches to increase our presence in the RWD market.
  • Sales Contract Negotiation: Secure lucrative contracts with life sciences companies, highlighting Atropos Health's value proposition.
  • Customer Engagement: Foster loyalty and amplify advocacy among stakeholders through robust engagement strategies.
  • Partnerships: Collaborate with key partners to boost revenue from strategic partnerships.
  • Business Acumen: Provide bookings and revenue projections for your designated market area.

Requirements

  • Industry Knowledge: Possess working knowledge of Real-World Evidence (RWE), Real-World Data (RWD), Medical, Research and Development (R&D), Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR), Analytics, and Commercial use cases.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/life science industry, with at least 3 years of client-facing sales roles.
  • Relationship Building: Proven ability to build relationships with small, medium, and large pharmaceutical and biotech companies.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas into clear, concise language.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including team leadership and sales team management.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required.

What We Offer

We provide a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, based on experience and performance. Additionally, we offer:
