About the Role

Cepheid is seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our team as an Alternate Site Territory Sales Executive. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing all Cepheid business in the non-acute healthcare markets for both existing and prospective accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with health system clinics, regional and local reference laboratories, large multi-specialty clinics, and other physician office laboratories to identify qualified leads, grow market share, and increase revenue.
  • Drive demand for and adoption of new assays and instrumentation to deliver on quarterly and annual orders and revenue sales targets.
  • Manage without authority within distributor sales teams to encourage the promotion of Cepheid instruments and testing applications.
  • Optimize cycle time by using CRM tools to maintain customer and account activity, map visibility, and drive market share.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related healthcare sales experience, preferably in laboratory diagnostics, distribution, clinical laboratory, and/or life science markets.
  • Proven sales success, specifically in selling premium-priced products.
