Cepheid is proud to collaborate with a network of six other Danaher Diagnostics companies. Together, we are advancing the pace of change in diagnostic tools that confront the most pressing health issues, driven by the understanding that behind every test, there is a patient awaiting results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and expand Cepheid's business in the non-acute healthcare markets, focusing on both existing and potential accounts.
- Introduce new diagnostic concepts and oversee the implementation of GeneXpert Systems and a diverse portfolio of over 20 diagnostic tests, including next-generation assays.
- Foster and sustain positive relationships with various healthcare facilities, including clinics, laboratories, and long-term care institutions, to identify leads, enhance market share, and boost revenue.
- Drive demand for new assays and instruments to meet quarterly and annual sales targets while improving profit margins on sales.
- Collaborate with distributor sales teams to promote Cepheid instruments and testing applications effectively.
- Utilize CRM tools to optimize customer engagement and sales strategies, ensuring visibility and prioritization of sales activities.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant healthcare sales experience, preferably in laboratory diagnostics or life sciences, or a Master's degree with at least 3 years of similar experience.
- Demonstrated success in selling premium-priced products.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%, including overnight stays within the sales territory.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in demand generation for innovative technologies.
- Ability to engage multiple stakeholders within alternate-site markets.

The base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $105,000, reflecting our good faith estimate of potential compensation at the time of posting. This range may be adjusted in the future.
This position also qualifies for bonus or incentive pay, and we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and a 401(k) plan for eligible employees.
