Cepheid is proud to collaborate with a network of six other Danaher Diagnostics companies. Together, we are advancing the pace of change in diagnostic tools that confront the most pressing health issues worldwide, motivated by the knowledge that behind every test, there is a patient in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and expand Cepheid's business within the non-acute healthcare markets, targeting both existing and potential accounts.
- Introduce innovative diagnostic concepts and oversee the implementation of GeneXpert Systems and a diverse portfolio of over 20 diagnostic tests, including cutting-edge assays for COVID-19.
- Build and sustain positive relationships with various healthcare facilities, including clinics, laboratories, and urgent care centers, to identify qualified leads, enhance market share, and boost revenue.
- Drive demand for new assays and instruments to meet quarterly and annual sales targets while improving profit margins on equipment and service contracts.
- Collaborate with distributor sales teams to promote Cepheid products and applications effectively.
- Utilize CRM tools to optimize customer engagement and account management, ensuring visibility and prioritization of sales opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with over 5 years of relevant healthcare sales experience, preferably in laboratory diagnostics or life sciences, or a Master's degree with 3+ years of related experience.
- Demonstrated success in selling premium-priced products.
Travel Requirements:
Willingness to travel up to 50%, including overnight stays within the sales territory.
