Job Overview

InfluxData is a leading provider of time series data platforms, and we're seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Sales Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing customer relationships.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at mid-to-large-sized organizations.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging your expertise in data solutions and cloud management.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver sales enablement content and training programs.

  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets, driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of success in data solutions, SaaS, or PaaS.

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with a strong understanding of sales metrics and performance indicators.

  • Strong prospecting, qualifying, closing, and managing skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.

  • Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to navigate complex sales cycles and close deals.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

  • Experience selling open source software, NoSQL data technologies, or other modern data platforms.

  • Experience in enterprise management solutions, such as systems management, cloud management, log analytics, APM, or network monitoring.
