**Role Purpose:**
The IT Audit Manager is pivotal in orchestrating the planning, execution, and reporting of IT audits. This role emphasizes risk management, regulatory adherence, and fostering continuous improvement while effectively engaging with stakeholders to align with Timken's strategic goals and protect its IT resources.

**Key Responsibilities:**
  • **Audit Strategy Development:** Formulate detailed audit plans and strategies to evaluate the effectiveness of IT systems, controls, and processes.
  • **Risk Identification:** Recognize potential threats to the organization's IT infrastructure and devise strategies to mitigate these risks, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • **Audit Coordination:** Collaborate with internal teams to schedule audits, perform fieldwork, and analyze results, preparing comprehensive audit reports that detail observations and actionable recommendations.
  • **Stakeholder Communication:** Present audit findings and risk assessments to senior management and relevant committees, facilitating discussions and collaborating on remediation strategies.
  • **Team Leadership:** Supervise internal and co-sourced auditors, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure efficient and effective audit execution, while also participating in recruitment and training efforts.

**Qualifications:**
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient understanding of IT governance and compliance frameworks, including COBIT and ITIL, along with knowledge of pertinent regulations such as GDPR and HIPAA.
  • Strong capability to assess IT-related risks and prioritize them based on potential impact, developing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Familiarity with information security principles and best practices, including network security and vulnerability management.
  • Understanding of various IT infrastructure components, including servers, networks, and cloud technologies, to evaluate their security and operational efficiency.
  • Expertise in audit methodologies and tools, including data analytics and audit management software.
  • Ability to analyze large datasets to identify trends and insights that support audit conclusions.
  • Knowledge of business continuity and disaster recovery processes to assess their effectiveness in maintaining IT resilience.
  • Strong project management skills to effectively plan and execute audit engagements, ensuring timely completion of reports.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels and convey complex technical concepts clearly.
