Overview
As a pivotal member of our procurement team, the SAP Procurement Analyst will leverage their expertise in SAP to enhance and standardize the source-to-pay processes across our organization. This role is integral in developing best practices for purchasing operations, ensuring compliance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Integration Specialist: Collaborate with project teams to assimilate new acquisitions into our corporate procurement framework through effective training and SAP configurations.
- Training Coordinator: Partner with various departments to identify training needs and orchestrate a comprehensive training schedule that supports procurement proficiency.
- Compliance Oversight: Uphold SOX compliance by managing user roles and access within SAP to ensure a robust separation of duties, thereby minimizing procurement fraud risks.
- Cost Management: Coordinate with Accounting and Supply Assurance teams to refine the process of updating direct material standard costs across our facilities.
- Process Improvement: Analyze service requests and collaborate with IT to prioritize and resolve procurement-related incidents and enhancements.
- Audit Support: Provide evidence of adherence to procurement processes during internal and external audits, utilizing SAP and business intelligence reports.
- Data Integrity: Maintain high accuracy in procurement data within SAP, striving for over 95% accuracy and developing KPIs aligned with business goals.
- Additional Responsibilities: Engage in various ad hoc tasks that support the continuity and improvement of the source-to-pay process.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven expertise in SAP procurement processes.
- Strong ability to build cross-functional teams.
- Effective presentation and public speaking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills for data gathering and organization.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience.
- Master's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
