**Key Responsibilities**
**Tax Compliance Management**: Engage in the preparation of federal, state, and local income and franchise tax returns, including estimated payments. This role requires meticulous preparation and reconciliation of federal calculations, state apportionment data, tax credits, and attributes, covering all facets of income tax, property tax, and sales and use tax compliance. **Tax Provision Preparation**: Collaborate with global tax team members to ensure the timely and accurate preparation of ASC 740 income tax calculations for U.S. income taxes, including quarterly and annual tax provisions. This involves reviewing current and deferred income taxes and effective tax rate inputs. **Accrual Management**: Support the preparation of U.S. federal accruals, state property tax, franchise tax, and sales & use tax accruals. This includes analyzing tax accounts, preparing journal entries, and conducting account reconciliations. **Tax Planning Implementation**: Assist in the execution of tax planning strategies aimed at minimizing the cash and earnings impact of tax expenses. Work closely with the Tax team to ensure that tax implications of operations and business structuring are effectively coordinated. Identify key risks associated with tax operations for compliance and financial reporting, while conducting thorough research and documentation on tax matters. **Audit Support**: Provide assistance during tax audits by preparing responses to tax authority information requests and coordinating with tax authorities alongside global tax team members for federal and state income tax, property tax, and sales and use tax audits. Compile summaries of audit status and aid in developing and executing audit defense strategies.
**Minimum Qualifications**
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance Preferred: Master's degree in Taxation, Accounting, Finance, or MBA Minimum of 5 years of corporate tax experience (or 3 years with a master's degree) in industry and/or public accounting, with a strong technical understanding of U.S. federal, state, and local taxation. Required: Experience with US GAAP ASC 740; SEC regulations preferred.
