Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively seek out new business opportunities by identifying and engaging potential clients, including groups, travel agents, and corporate customers. Utilize networking channels to expand our client base and explore profitable avenues for business growth.
  • Participate actively in industry events, trade shows, and community gatherings to enhance business development efforts. Conduct presentations and engage in sales blitzes to showcase our offerings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through consistent communication and outstanding customer service.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of business opportunities, staying informed about market trends and competitor activities. Respond to requests for proposals (RFPs) and collaborate with clients to plan event details.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and data within the property management system.
  • Engage in regular business review meetings, research potential new clients, and develop targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Facilitate familiarization trips and participate in local community initiatives to drive business.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of five years of experience in hotel group sales, with a proven track record in various market segments such as Corporate, Education, and Associations.
  • Strong understanding of hotel service standards and guest relations, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • Proficient in effective sales techniques, with demonstrated skills in negotiation and closing deals.
