Role Summary:

The Email Marketing Strategist will report directly to the Senior Email Marketing Manager. This position entails orchestrating the flow of email and SMS marketing initiatives, along with targeted and automated communications for FitLab's diverse brand portfolio. Key responsibilities include crafting emails, analyzing campaign performance, conducting A/B testing, driving communication automation, and supporting lead-generation efforts. This role is essential for maintaining robust databases, adhering to email and SMS best practices, monitoring spam and bounce rates, and significantly contributing to FitLab's marketing strategies. Above all, the Email Marketing Strategist will uphold FitLab's mission of inspiring individuals to embrace movement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and uphold diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace.
  • Execute daily email marketing campaigns with precision.
  • Design and refine intricate automated workflows that align with business goals.
  • Evaluate and interpret campaign results, providing actionable insights for performance enhancement.
  • Develop and manage the email campaign calendar in collaboration with brand managers.
  • Ensure that email campaign content is engaging, accurate, and consistent with brand identity.
  • Maintain optimal sending practices and monitor for potential performance challenges.
  • Utilize project management tools to prioritize projects and campaigns effectively.
  • Review email copy and design for accuracy and clarity.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in leading successful email marketing campaigns and strategies.

  • Familiarity with advanced email platforms, preferably Klaviyo.
  • Experience in the fitness or related industry is advantageous.
  • Proven expertise in testing methodologies, versioning, and personalization.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs, and similar tools.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • A background check will be conducted on all final candidates upon receipt of the signed offer letter and release form.
