Position Overview:

In the dynamic landscape of financial management, the right blend of innovative ideas and strategic funding can drive significant transformation. As a Senior Financial Resource Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in guiding a team through the intricate requirements, policies, and regulations governing financial allocations, ensuring that our client's resources are utilized for maximum impact.

Your Role:

As a Senior Financial Resource Specialist, you will be responsible for developing a comprehensive financial management strategy that enables your client to navigate and fulfill complex budgeting and financial obligations. Acting as the Team Lead, you will serve as the primary liaison between the client and our internal team, collaborating with various stakeholders to uphold Service Level Agreements and assist clients in formulating project cost proposals. This will facilitate the creation of actionable plans to secure funding for essential facilities and infrastructure initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your expertise in government finance regulations and budget execution best practices to assist clients in articulating clear financial requirements.
  • Once funding is secured, ensure meticulous tracking of expenditures, updates, and necessary corrective actions through consistent communication with government and project stakeholders.
  • Leverage your financial analysis skills to contribute to high-level infrastructure projects, guiding your team with your extensive knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of experience in finance, encompassing accounting, budgeting, or financial analysis.
  • Proven experience in managing and executing substantial budgets for complex projects.
  • Possession of TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with government accounting systems, particularly CostPoint.
  • Experience with project management tools, such as Maximo.
  • Master's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.

Clearance Requirements:

Applicants selected for this position will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is mandatory.
