Role Summary: Are you dedicated to assisting individuals in achieving financial autonomy? As the Program Manager for Financial Empowerment, you will be instrumental in facilitating access to affordable vehicle loans for low-to-moderate income individuals, thereby enhancing their financial security and promoting self-sufficiency. You will act as a community resource, guiding participants through the loan process, offering continuous financial coaching, and connecting them with essential local resources. If you are passionate about community impact and excel at relationship-building, this role is tailored for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building Relationships: Establish and nurture strong, trusting connections with program participants through empathetic financial coaching and case management throughout the loan process.
- Community Involvement: Engage actively in community initiatives and collaborate with local organizations to enhance program visibility, attract new participants, and amplify the program's reach.
- Participant Guidance: Clearly articulate program details to prospective participants, assist them in navigating the application and vehicle selection process, and provide support to those preparing for future loan opportunities.
- Ensuring Participant Success: Collaborate closely with the Loan Team to help participants manage their loans effectively, navigate challenges, and achieve high repayment rates and improved credit scores.
- Educational Leadership: Conduct workshops within the community, providing participants with valuable insights into vehicle ownership, financial literacy, and related topics. Partner with community organizations to invite guest speakers and create a resource network.
- Outcome Tracking: Maintain accurate records of participant progress and success stories using appropriate software, contributing to program data and securing ongoing funding.
- Team Collaboration: Work cohesively with the statewide team to align objectives, share best practices, and contribute to the overall success of the program.
