Role Summary: Are you dedicated to assisting individuals in achieving financial autonomy? As the Program Manager for Financial Empowerment, you will be instrumental in facilitating access to affordable vehicle loans for low-to-moderate income individuals, thereby enhancing their financial security and promoting self-sufficiency. You will act as a local authority, guiding participants through the lending process, offering continuous financial coaching, and linking them to essential community resources. If you are motivated by community impact and possess strong relationship-building skills, this role is tailored for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building Relationships: Establish and nurture trusting connections with program participants through consistent, empathetic financial coaching and case management from initial screening to loan completion.
- Community Outreach: Engage actively in community initiatives and collaborate with local organizations to raise awareness of the program, thereby driving participant referrals and expanding its reach.
- Participant Guidance: Clearly articulate the program details to prospective participants, assist them in navigating the application and vehicle selection processes, and provide support to those who need preparation for future loan opportunities.
- Ensuring Participant Success: Collaborate closely with the Loan Team to assist participants in managing their loans, addressing crises, and overcoming challenges, ensuring high repayment rates and credit score improvements.
- Educational Leadership: Conduct workshops within the community, providing participants with valuable knowledge on vehicle ownership, financial literacy, and other relevant topics. Partner with community organizations to feature guest speakers and create a resource network.
- Outcome Tracking: Diligently document participant progress and success stories using appropriate software, contributing to program data and aiding in securing ongoing funding and support.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively within the statewide team to align objectives, share best practices, and contribute to the overall success of the program.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, relevant work experience, and lived experience.
