Position Overview:
We are looking for a Care Coordinator and Scheduler to join our team. This role involves overseeing the scheduling of caregivers and clients, ensuring a seamless and efficient operation. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, the ability to prioritize effectively, and a knack for problem-solving in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and manage comprehensive schedules for clients and caregivers.
2. Pair caregivers with clients based on their qualifications, personal attributes, and specific client needs.
3. Address urgent care requests, unconfirmed shifts, and caregiver absences promptly.
4. Record changes, cancellations, and notable occurrences accurately.
5. Maintain precise records for both clients and caregivers.
6. Communicate effectively with all team members, clients, and their representatives.
7. Participate in on-call duties as required.
Skills/Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in an administrative role, ideally within the home care sector.
- 2-3 years of experience in a caregiving capacity.
- Must be willing to undergo background checks and drug screenings.
- Proficient in computer applications, including MS Word, Excel, and other standard software.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
- Competent internet skills, including proficiency in email and group messaging platforms.
