Position Overview:
We are in search of a Care Coordinator and Scheduler for our team. This role involves overseeing the scheduling of caregivers and clients, ensuring efficient operations in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, the ability to prioritize effectively, and a knack for problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and oversee schedules for clients and caregivers.
2. Pair caregivers with clients based on their skills, personalities, and preferences.
3. Address urgent care requests, manage unconfirmed shifts, and respond to caregiver absences.
4. Record changes, cancellations, and notable occurrences.
5. Keep precise records for both clients and caregivers.
6. Communicate efficiently with staff members, clients, and their contacts.
7. Perform on-call responsibilities as needed.
Skills/Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in an administrative role, ideally within the home care sector.
- 2-3 years of experience in a caregiving capacity.
- Must be willing to undergo background checks and drug screenings.
- Proficient in computer applications, including MS Word, Excel, and other relevant software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing tasks effectively.
- Good internet proficiency, including familiarity with email and group messaging platforms.
