Position Overview

This role involves direct reporting to the CEO of a prominent international consumer packaged goods (CPG) organization. The successful candidate will spearhead financial initiatives for the expanding US sector of a global enterprise valued at over $4 billion.

About the Organization

Our client is a well-established global brand in the food and beverage sector, currently enhancing its footprint in the United States.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the tracking, recording, and analysis of customer rebates and billbacks for primary clients in the US market. This position will cultivate a deep understanding of how CPG companies evaluate and monitor customer performance.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of proposed agreements for onboarding new clients, ensuring the necessary steps are taken to consistently monitor and report on profitability utilizing advanced business analytics tools.
  • Deliver monthly profitability analyses to Directors and C-Suite executives.
  • Establish a monthly reporting framework to address all discrepancies between the projected budget and actual performance concerning customer profitability.
  • Engage in additional modeling and analytical tasks related to financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including logistics and distribution expenses, suggested price adjustments, and overall operational performance.
  • Work collaboratively with teams based in both the US and international headquarters.

Ideal Candidate Profile
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or FP&A within the CPG sector, preferably in food and beverage.
  • Experience in commercial finance.
  • Proficient in Excel and financial modeling.
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic environment characterized by rapid decision-making.
  • Possesses a proactive approach to problem-solving with an emphasis on long-term sustainability and scalability.
