Senior Marketing Campaign Strategist for Sports

The Amazon Prime Video Sports Marketing division is seeking a Senior Marketing Campaign Strategist to spearhead comprehensive marketing initiatives and projects that support live sports events and original unscripted sports content, including documentaries and docuseries.

This role, reporting directly to the Head of Campaign Management, is vital in three primary domains:


Campaign and Creative Management:

Overseeing all facets of marketing initiatives from inception to completion, managing schedules, budgets, and cross-departmental teams to guarantee the flawless execution of creative materials.


Team Efficiency and Innovation:

Boosting productivity and creativity within the team, establishing processes, integrating marketing technologies, and monitoring essential metrics to enhance overall performance.


Sports Brand Management:

Leading the development and implementation of compelling sports brand content, ensuring uniformity across various projects, and collaborating with Creative and Strategy teams to maintain a robust brand presence.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining the overall integrity of 360-degree campaigns, including timeline oversight and creative production budget management.
  • Aligning strategic, creative, social, and media teams towards shared goals and deadlines.
  • Proactively engaging with internal teams and external partners to evaluate project needs and ensure effective development and delivery.
  • Serving as the primary liaison with partners, managing creative asset budgets, facilitating necessary approvals, and communicating plans to stakeholders.
  • Innovating and streamlining processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery while promoting continuous improvements.
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to team members as needed.

This position requires:
  • A minimum of 8 years of professional marketing experience, excluding internships.
  • Proven experience in fostering alignment with cross-functional teams and agency collaborators.
  • Expertise in utilizing data and metrics to assess impact and drive enhancements.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

A strong enthusiasm for sports, a comprehensive understanding of sports marketing, and experience in brand development and management are highly desirable.

The compensation for this role varies based on factors such as market location, experience, and skills, with a range from $106,400 to $185,000 annually. Amazon provides a competitive compensation package that includes equity, sign-on bonuses, and a variety of benefits.
