YOUR ROLE:

As a vital member of our service team, you will assist clients with daily account management, claims processing, and underwriting services, ensuring they are equipped to protect what matters most. You will collaborate with industry-leading professionals to meet and exceed client expectations while providing innovative insurance solutions.

The Client Success Strategist works closely with the Producer and Account Executive to oversee a portfolio of small group clients, supporting Account Executives with complex, larger clients. This position involves coordinating and delivering daily services for employee benefits clients, nurturing client relationships, enhancing client retention, building strong carrier partnerships, and understanding client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Account Executive to implement multi-year strategic initiatives.
  • Manage client projects, including vendor implementations.
  • Generate annual benchmarking reports and recommend strategies based on insights.
  • Maintain client relationships, enhance client retention, build strong carrier partnerships, and comprehend client needs.
  • Resolve claims and coverage issues for clients' employees when escalated from HR or the call center.
  • Assist with clients' billing and eligibility audits, occasionally conducting these audits independently.
  • Advise clients on compliance matters.
  • Prepare open enrollment materials, including SBCs and disclosure notices.
  • Create employee benefit booklets using Microsoft Publisher.
  • Develop open enrollment presentations and conduct benefits webinars for employees and HR Managers.
  • Oversee new carrier, plan, or vendor implementations, including benefits administration system setup.
  • Install and update client-specific data in the management system.
  • Support the RFP process and mentor Account Representatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience as an Account Manager or Account Representative in the employee benefits sector required (equivalent education and experience will also be considered).
  • Experience with small groups is essential.
  • Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting documents along with effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a significant advantage.
