Position Overview

The Lead Financial Strategist for Global Television Distribution plays a crucial role in the financial planning and analysis of NBC Universal's extensive filmed entertainment and television offerings. This position involves supporting the financial consolidation of global content licensing projections, specifically focusing on theatrical content within a dynamic international framework. The role requires collaboration with various teams, including Sales, Sales Administration, and Planning Groups.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the tracking of theatrical content licensing projections for Universal Film Entertainment Group assets across diverse platforms and territories.
  • Support and develop financial models for international output and incremental agreements across multiple regions.
  • Maintain and upload revenue and ultimate submissions to centralized financial planning systems.
  • Assist in the financial consolidation of global content licensing revenue, including Annual Budgets, Forecasts, and Monthly Reporting.
  • Analyze and summarize financial outcomes against previous plans, identifying key financial drivers and monitoring performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with Controllership, Legal, and Sales teams to ensure transparency and effective communication regarding distribution revenue.
  • Engage in special projects as directed by management, focusing on process enhancements and system integrations.
Qualifications

Basic Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in quantitative analysis, forecasting, or financial modeling.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel functionalities.
