Position Overview

Become a key player in one of GCI Residential's dynamic communities as a Residential Community Supervisor. This role is essential in maintaining the integrity and value of our residential properties while ensuring a positive living experience for all residents.

GCI Residential LLC is a leading firm in real estate development and management, dedicated to creating outstanding living environments. As a Residential Community Supervisor, you will work closely with the Property Manager to oversee the operational and financial performance of the assigned community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing maintenance requests and resolving resident concerns related to lease agreements, renewals, and community policies.
  • Serve as the main point of contact between the Property Manager and staff, overseeing leasing and maintenance teams in the absence of the Property Manager.
  • Assist in the management of overdue accounts and facilitate the eviction process with the guidance of the Property Manager.
  • Develop communication materials for residents and support initiatives aimed at resident retention.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance team performance.
  • Manage office supplies and coordinate purchases while adhering to company policies and budget constraints.
  • Oversee routine purchasing approvals and invoice processing in collaboration with the Property Manager.
  • Represent GCI Residential with professionalism and courtesy, maintaining a positive demeanor in all interactions.

Qualifications:

What We Are Looking For:

  • Three to five years of experience in property management, leasing, or a related field.
Education and Certifications:
  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Education, or a related field, or equivalent experience in real estate or sales management.
Essential Skills:
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and surpassing performance goals.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office.
  • Effective problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong work ethic and a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate team members.
  • Knowledge of Landlord/Tenant and Fair Housing laws.
  • Familiarity with MRI software is a plus.
Additional Requirements:
  • A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Commitment to a minimum of forty hours per week with regular attendance.
