Position Overview:


The Implementation Consultant is responsible for delivering value to OpenGov clients by ensuring a seamless and efficient implementation process. This role requires leveraging product knowledge and expertise to make informed solution recommendations.


The Implementation Consultant will oversee the entire customer implementation journey, establishing a solid foundation for their OpenGov platform while maximizing the value of their investment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage new customer implementations from initiation to completion, providing guidance and support throughout the process, including data requirements gathering, technical configuration, and training.
  • Act as the primary technical liaison for new clients deploying OpenGov or expanding their existing functionalities.
  • Engage directly with government officials, guiding them through the implementation process and empowering them to become effective administrators of their OpenGov software.
  • Identify customer challenges and collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline, enhance, and automate processes that improve customer workflows.
  • Develop expertise in governmental processes across various states.
  • Collaborate closely with the engagement and adoption team to ensure a consistent customer experience and successful training for new clients.
  • Continuously refine best practices for different data environments and customer sectors to enhance future implementation efficiency.
  • Support key product discussions by collecting and relaying customer feedback and feature requests to ensure OpenGov remains an essential solution.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in software implementation consulting or relevant experience with external clients.
  • Proficient in analyzing and reporting large datasets, with a solid understanding of government operational concepts and practices.
  • Ability to provide clear and effective support and recommendations to foster positive customer relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on pattern recognition, modeling, and design.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including the use of functions and formulas such as v-lookup and pivot tables. Familiarity with ETL tools and report creation is a plus.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while balancing internal processes and improvements.
  • Adaptability to rapidly changing products and strategic responsiveness to customer needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong verbal and written communication, teamwork, and customer service abilities.
Compensation:

$50,000 - $125,000 annually, with eligibility for bonuses.


The final compensation will be determined based on qualifications, expertise, and geographical location.
