Job Summary:

The Implementation Specialist is tasked with maximizing value for OpenGov clients by ensuring a seamless and efficient implementation process. This role requires leveraging product expertise to make informed solution recommendations.

As a key player, you will oversee the entire customer implementation journey, establishing a robust foundation for their OpenGov platform while optimizing their investment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate new customer implementations from inception to completion, providing essential guidance and support throughout the process, including data gathering, technical setup, and training.
  • Act as the primary technical liaison for new clients deploying OpenGov or expanding their existing functionalities.
  • Engage directly with government officials, guiding them through the implementation process and empowering them to become proficient administrators of their OpenGov software.
  • Identify customer challenges and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance and automate processes that improve operational workflows.
  • Develop expertise in governmental operations across various states.
  • Collaborate with the engagement and adoption team to ensure a consistent and effective customer experience, including comprehensive training for new clients.
  • Continuously refine best practices for diverse data environments and customer sectors to enhance future implementation efficiencies.
  • Contribute to product discussions by collecting and relaying customer feedback and feature requests to ensure OpenGov remains an indispensable solution.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in software implementation consulting or related roles involving external clients.
  • Proficient in analyzing and reporting on substantial volumes of financial and operational data, with a solid understanding of governmental operational practices.
  • Ability to deliver clear and effective support and recommendations, fostering positive relationships with clients.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on pattern recognition, modeling, and design.
  • Advanced Excel capabilities, including functions and formulas for data manipulation, with knowledge of ETL tools and report creation being a plus.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while balancing procedural adherence and process enhancements.
  • Adaptability to evolving product landscapes and strategic responsiveness to client needs.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including strong verbal and written communication, teamwork, and customer service abilities.

Additional Information:

This position is eligible for bonuses. Compensation will be determined based on qualifications, expertise, and geographical considerations.
