Administrative Operations Specialist

Position: Administrative Support Specialist in the Appeals Division at the Commonwealth of Virginia
- Work collaboratively with the Civil Rights Coordinator and Compliance Specialist to oversee language access requests and ensure appropriate disability accommodations.
- Guarantee timely fulfillment of requests while adhering to legal requirements.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and foster a positive workplace atmosphere.
- Monitor and forecast expenses for the forthcoming fiscal period.
- Report directly to the Civil Rights Coordinator.
Essential Qualifications:
- Background in a legal office, court system, or governmental organization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant specialized software.
- Capability to analyze information and propose effective solutions.
- Familiarity with federal and state legislation and regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience engaging with stakeholders to enhance program efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional experience in public health, administration, or a related sector.
- Understanding of Medicaid and the Children's Health Insurance Program.
