About the Opportunity

The Critical Operations Administrative Services (COAS) department is seeking a Security Operations Administrator to support the Risk & Compliance Manager. This department is essential for ensuring safety, security, and compliance, working diligently to protect the Bank's personnel and assets through effective screening and credentialing processes.

The Security Operations Administrator will provide both technical and administrative assistance to the Senior Security Specialist. Key responsibilities include generating correspondence, maintaining records, and managing database entries. You will facilitate the initiation and management of background checks for employees, applicants, contractors, and other designated individuals. Your role will involve interpreting and applying security policies to ensure that screening levels correspond with job requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Notify personnel due for rescreening and initiate background investigations.
  • Assess if further inquiries are needed to clarify any discrepancies in applicant information.
  • Maintain comprehensive database records to track screening activities and compliance with security protocols.
  • Address inquiries from stakeholders regarding background checks and credentialing processes.
  • Coordinate communications with clients and relevant parties concerning security operations.
  • Conduct regular self-assessments and quality assurance checks to verify the accuracy of screening information.
  • Offer security recommendations for identifying and mitigating risks associated with sensitive operations.
  • Communicate security policies and procedures through various formats, including meetings and written documentation.
  • Assist in reviewing and analyzing investigation outcomes to determine employment suitability and credentialing eligibility.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, particularly in handling sensitive personal information.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and precision in work.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational abilities and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and collaboration tools, with strong analytical capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Capable of responding promptly to requests for information.
  • Familiarity with C-CURE 9000 and/or Workday is a plus, but not mandatory.

Additional Considerations:

  • Review the Bank's Employee Code of Conduct to ensure adherence to conflict-of-interest regulations.
  • Employees visiting other Federal Reserve entities must comply with their safety and health protocols.
  • This position requires onsite presence on specific weekdays.
  • Sponsorship is not available for this role, and candidates must meet eligibility criteria for access to sensitive information.
  • The salary range for the Security Operations Administrator position is competitive and based on qualifications and experience.
