Job Summary

Henry Ford College is seeking a highly qualified Part-Time OSHA 501 Instructor to join our team. As an Adjunct Faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching OSHA 501 courses and contributing to the academic excellence of our institution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Instruction: Develop and deliver high-quality instruction in OSHA 501 courses, ensuring that students meet the learning objectives and outcomes.
  • Course Development: Collaborate with the department to develop and update course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments.
  • Student Support: Provide academic support and guidance to students, including office hours, email, and phone support.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Develop and administer assessments to evaluate student learning and program effectiveness.
  • Professional Development: Participate in professional development activities to stay current with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
  • Education: Earned Bachelor's degree or higher from a regionally-accredited institution in Industrial Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years industrial on-the-floor full-time work experience required.
  • Certifications: OSHA-10/30 Instructor Certification required.
