Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data engineering solutions using GCP technologies such as Google BigQuery, Cloud Dataflow, and Cloud Pub/Sub.
  • Develop and maintain scalable, reliable, and cost-effective production batch and streaming data pipelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest GCP technologies and best practices.

Requirements:

  • 8 years of professional experience in data engineering, data product development, and software product launches.
  • At least three years of experience in cloud data/software engineering using GCP technologies.
  • Experience with data warehouses, workflow orchestration tools, relational database management systems, real-time data streaming platforms, microservices architecture, and DevOps tools.
  • Strong understanding of agile delivery methodologies and experience with project management tools.
  • GCP Certification is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in IDOC processing, APIs, and SAP data migration projects.
  • Experience working in SAP S4 Hana environment.
  • Automotive experience is a plus.
  • Support in an onshore/offshore model is a plus.
