DTC Growth and Retention Specialist

A highly-driven and analytical professional is sought after to join the DTC Growth and Retention Analyst Program at Book of the Month. As a key member of our team, you will work across the full stack of DTC growth efforts: customer acquisition, digital performance marketing, media buying, retention, LTV optimization, member experience programs, and more.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn quickly, take on new challenges, and apply feedback. They will also possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and accuracy. Additionally, they should be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, and be a fan of new release fiction or a current or former Book of the Month member.
In this role, you will contribute to and learn about different aspects of the business over time, including direct management of at-scale customer acquisition programs on Meta, Tiktok, email, out-of-home channels, and more. You will also conceptualize and plan A/B tests across various technical and creative variables, work with the creative team to organize, track, and report on creative tests, and manage cross-channel budgets to achieve CPE and CAC to LTV targets.
You will build and manage complex project plans for key member experience programs like the annual Reading Challenge, Book of the Year program, and the Relationship Status loyalty program. You will gather, analyze, and report on member sentiment across channels, including paid media, organic social media, and member surveys. You will also report on subscriber churn and help to ideate and execute new initiatives to improve customer attention, with a focus on both voluntary and involuntary churn improvement.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are interested in eCommerce, Direct to Consumer, or the book business. The salary range for this position is $62,400 - $100,000.
