Soliant Education is in search of a dedicated and enthusiastic Educator for Hearing Impaired Students to join our team. This full-time role provides the flexibility to work either on-site or remotely, catering to students across all grade levels from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute personalized education plans (IEPs) tailored for students with hearing impairments.
  • Modify teaching materials and strategies to meet the unique hearing needs of each student.
  • Work collaboratively with general education instructors, families, and support personnel to foster inclusive educational settings.
  • Deliver instruction in American Sign Language (ASL) and other communication techniques as required.
  • Evaluate and track student progress, adjusting educational approaches to facilitate both academic and personal development.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid teaching certification for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Alabama.
  • Preferred experience with K-12 students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and familiarity with assistive hearing technologies.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Capability to cultivate a nurturing and inclusive learning atmosphere.
