About the Position
The Education Policy Center at the University of Alabama invites applications for an Associate/Full Professor of Higher Education Administration, with a specialization in quantitative modeling in the economics of education, at either the higher education or K-20 levels.
Responsibilities
- Pursue a rigorous and innovative line of research
- Pursue external funding
- Support the work of the Education Policy Center via advanced modeling
- Work with doctoral students on research activities
- Provide research support to the department, college, university, and profession
- Design and teach graduate-level courses delivered in face-to-face, hybrid, and online formats
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in economics, political science, higher education, educational leadership, or a related field
- Demonstrated record of scholarship
- Demonstrated record of excellence in both online and face-to-face teaching at the postsecondary level
- Demonstrated ability to secure external funding to support research or strong potential to do so
- Demonstrated record of successfully mentoring and advising graduate students
