Position Overview:

Lincoln Property Company is seeking a proficient Building Engineer to support the upkeep and functionality of all mechanical systems, appliances, and building-related operations. This role involves collaboration with fellow Engineers under the guidance of the Lead Engineer/Chief Engineer and may include overseeing junior engineers on various assignments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct scheduled maintenance and repairs on the property, including equipment testing and preventive upkeep.
  • Address unscheduled maintenance requests, such as plumbing issues, minor equipment failures, HVAC concerns, electrical repairs, and minor structural fixes (ceilings, floors, doors, etc.).
  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of fire and life safety systems within the facility.
  • Execute regular Preventive Maintenance tasks to ensure optimal functioning of all building equipment.
  • Respond to emergency calls outside of regular hours as required.
  • Perform routine inspections of the building and its systems.
  • Encourage and uphold safe work practices with a focus on overall safety.
  • Engage with tenants to understand their requirements and foster positive, productive, and professional relationships.
  • Collaborate with the Property Manager/General Manager on various projects as needed.
  • Flexibility in work schedule may be necessary, including overtime and evening/weekend hours to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years of progressively responsible experience in a commercial property or tenant management environment.
  • Knowledge of building and equipment maintenance/repair techniques, along with basic property management skills.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain professionalism under pressure.
  • Self-motivated with leadership qualities, teamwork, and collaborative skills.
This position is 100% in-office, requiring presence during standard business hours. Remote work is not an option for this role.

Compensation:

Pay range is between $32-$36 USD.
