Under direct supervision, the individual will perform a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring cleanliness, order, and sanitation within facilities. Responsible for maintaining necessary supplies.

JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES:

Responsible for maintaining supplies as required and ensuring assigned areas are clean and organized. Collects, sorts, launders, transports, and distributes linens and uniforms efficiently. May perform minor repairs on linens and assist with preventative maintenance tasks. Adheres to safety protocols when disposing of contaminated waste. Utilizes hand tools as necessary. Engages in the making, marking, altering, and mending of clothing, linens, and other items as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

A combination of training and experience that has equipped the applicant with the essential knowledge, skills, and abilities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Preference will be given to candidates who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, possess the following:

Experience in buffing and waxing floors.
