KBR is on the lookout for an Aerospace Propulsion Logistics Analyst/Manager to become a vital part of our team.

In this capacity, you will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Power and Propulsion, supporting the PMA 231, E2/C2 Aircraft Program Office.

Your role will include indirect support for PMA231 at various Engine Field Support Teams (FST) as part of the T56 Engine Logistics Team.


Key Responsibilities:


Execute part usage inquiries and generate various reports in COGNOS, including Maintenance Action Form (MAF) data, inventory, and location reports for engines and components, NP2000 propeller parts, along with other ad hoc queries as necessary.


Assist the Propulsion Teams with the Engine Propulsion Systems Electronic Action Record (EPSEAR) tracking system on the PMA231 SharePoint site.

Support the Engine Parts Manager in monitoring shipping containers and fleet distribution to users.

Report directly to the PMA 231 Propulsion Lead and the AF&PP IPT lead for daily assignments.

Conduct research on support equipment location, condition, shipping, and handling systems.

Develop and track metrics for Engine/NP2000 Propeller performance using NAVAIR Qlik Sense Analytical tools, focusing on E2D and E2C/C2 propulsion, NP2000 propellers, and associated systems.

Establish networking connections with T56 maintenance and repair entities across Navy and industry sectors.

Collaborate with fleet technicians at support facilities, conducting first article tests and technical process evaluations as needed.

Provide technical reports to the Airframe and Power Plant IPT and Deputy Assistant Program Logistics as required.

Generate and present routine monthly and quarterly metrics and logistics reports for PMA stakeholders.

Review fleet-submitted engine reports, Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), and Technical Directive (TD) submissions.


This position may require on-site work at designated facilities for a few days each week, with potential for remote work as per contract requirements.



Essential Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aviation Maintenance, or a related logistics field is required.

A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience is necessary.


Alternatively, 12 years of Naval Aviation Maintenance experience in Propulsion and Propeller Systems at operational and intermediate levels is acceptable.

Extensive experience with AD1, ADC, or ADCS is essential.


Familiarity with T56, E2, C2 Maintenance, Record Management, engine logbooks, and various supply chain systems is crucial.

Proficiency in obtaining and utilizing NAVAIR Technical Publications for task research is required.

Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, along with SharePoint site management, are necessary.


Must be a proactive self-starter, capable of assessing customer needs and providing assistance with minimal supervision, even on short notice.

A robust background in Naval Aviation Maintenance Management is essential.

Experience with safe-for-flight requirements, Quality Assurance functions, and Technical Publication Document Review (TPDR) management is required.

A solid understanding of the naval supply system is necessary.


Ability to research engine and aircraft data to produce metrics and create reports in various formats for high-level Navy stakeholders is essential.

Experience in managing aviation technical publications is required.

Proficiency in using IETMS and submitting TPDRS in both traditional and electronic formats is necessary.

Experience with P3/C130 T56 engine fleets is a plus.


Organizational and intermediate-level experience at various Fleet Readiness Centers or squadrons is essential.

Experience with modular engine documentation and record management is required.

Proximity for telecommuting within a specified distance from the base is necessary for this role.
