Beer Industry Sales Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Brewery Sales Representative to join our team at Boston Beer Company. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key accounts in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sell our entire product portfolio to key accounts in the industry
- Focus on increasing the availability and visibility of our products in new and existing accounts
- Identify major accounts that are not currently selling our products and develop a plan to establish business with such accounts
- Partner with distributors to ensure orders are placed, products are received, and business is growing at accounts
- Conduct sales calls, beer tastings, and evening promotions to drive sales and increase brand visibility
- Work closely with our marketing team to develop and execute sales strategies
- Travel regularly to service retailers and wholesalers
Requirements:
- 1+ years of proven results-oriented experience in outside sales or within the food and beverage industry
- An intense competitive spirit with an assertive, confident personality
- Valid driver's license, registered and insured vehicle, and ability to drive to and from accounts continuously
- Ability to lift and move cases of beer frequently
- Ability to climb, kneel, and stoop to arrange and display point-of-sale frequently
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $45,900 - $60,320 annually based on location and experience level. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance. Certain sales positions are also eligible for a car allowance.
