Position Overview

FUCHS Lubricants is seeking a dedicated and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales initiatives across the South Central Region. This role is pivotal in driving sales performance and fostering a high-performing sales team.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will:

  • Report directly to the Vice President of Sales for the Industrial Division.
  • Provide strategic leadership to the sales team, focusing on enhancing account management practices.
  • Drive the development of new business opportunities and refine sales closing strategies.
  • Support the Vice President with insights on strategic account management and customer analysis.
  • Oversee sales P&L responsibilities.
Team Leadership

This position will involve managing a team of 3-4 sales representatives, ensuring their professional growth and performance alignment with company objectives.

Travel Requirements

Expect approximately 50% travel within the designated territory.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Business.
  • A minimum of 6 years of B2B sales experience in industrial consumable products, with a preference for candidates from the Lubricants or Chemical sectors.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a leadership capacity.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • A proven track record in generating new business.
  • A solid grasp of direct selling principles, coupled with relevant product and industry knowledge.
  • The ability to cultivate collaborative relationships across various departments.
  • Willingness to travel overnight as necessary.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Compensation and Benefits

FUCHS offers a competitive salary, commensurate with experience, ranging from $120,000 to $145,000 annually. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your professional growth and work-life balance.
